Revival In Kisii
On Aug 22, Darryl Weinberg, ALTTN’s founder and Director, was sharing with a little congregation near Kisii, Kenya by phone. The congregation meets outside as they have no building and over the past couple of years have been learning about the Hebraic roots of our faith. On this day, they were learning about the fall feasts which were coming up and while he was teaching, Darryl felt the Holy Spirit instructing him to give an altar call. As he explained how the Moedim (feasts) of the Lord pointed to God’s plan of salvation, Darryl asked if anyone wanted to give their lives to the Lord and be born again. Thirty-five hands shot up and Darryl prayed with them a prayer of repentance and the people prayed in agreement. It was an astounding move of the Spirit to bring a harvest across the world using the wonders of modern technology.
The following week, Pastor Cyprine, leader of this congregation gave another altar call and 17 more people gave their lives to the Lord. A total of 52 people had now committed their lives to Yeshua. Here’s an account from Pastor Cyprine.
“On 22 August 2026, our Pastor preached online from Canada on the theme of salvation, hope and new life. Though miles away, his message reached hearts in Kenya through the screen. As he preached about the love and sacrifice of Yeshua, something moved in the room. People began to weep. Hands went up. Hearts that had been closed for years suddenly opened.
By the end of the service, 35 people stood up to give their lives to Yeshua — right there, through an online broadcast. It was proof that the Gospel has no boundaries: not distance, not language, not even a screen can stop the move of the Holy Spirit.
The next week that was on 29 August 2026 as I led the service 17 more people gave their lives to Yeshua. And the total members gave there live come to a total of 52 people who offered themselves to be baptised in the next service.
We give all glory to God for directing us to our beloved Pastor's obedience to reach Kenya for this wonderful step in our ministry. Fifty-two souls were added to the Kingdom — fifty-two lives forever changed." Through our pastor. May the Almighty bless you pastor.”
he week after, on Sept 3, Darryl shared again with the congregation about the need for baptism as act of obedience to the Lord. All 52 agreed to be immersed. We were able to purchase Bibles for all the new converts and on Sept 26, a baptism service was held where all 52 people gave a public testimony to their new dedication to following Yeshua.
